Towering over the East Bay, Mt. Diablo offers sweeping views of the Bay Area, including eight bridges, to the west and the Sierra Nevada to the east. The mountain boasts one of the largest viewsheds in the Western United States; you can even see Lassen Peak on clear days. Drive the scenic, curvy route to the summit, and enjoy numerous hiking and biking trails within the state park.
